On 8th June 2020, State Enterprise Radioactive Waste celebrated the 16th anniversary of its establishment. On this date, in 2004, was the official legal registration of the organization and it has been celebrated as the Day of the enterprise since then.
This year the event was celebrated unconventionally and without mass events. At the beginning of the working day, every employee was greeted with a special greeting card on the way to his workplace. Messages reflecting the core values shared by SERAW’s employees were encoded in a series of ten unique greeting cards: safety, honesty, improvement, knowledge, responsibility, transparency, future, history, aspiration, and care.
An impromptu exposition of the visual project at the entrance of each division and the Head Office of the enterprise complemented the festive atmosphere. The exhibition also included festive addresses to the employees delivered by the Executive Director, Dilyan Petrov, with a particular focus on the specific work of all Specialized Divisions, as well as the International Projects Division and SERAW’s Head Office.
“I believe that more and more people among us see the meaning of what we do. I wish health and happiness to you and your loved ones! I hope we’ll continue to be successful in the years ahead!”, said Mr. Petrov on the occasion of the special event in a video message to all.
