The SERAW athletes returned with a total of 19 cups from the XI-th Sport Festival of the Workers in the Energy Sector in Bulgaria, organized by the CITU for the period 11-15 September 2013
The summary from the sport event were 5 complex (men and women) champion titles: in volleyball, darts, sport backgammon, tennis and table tennis. The highest prizes in the separate sports were won by the women’s volleyball and darts teams, the men’s tennis and table tennis teams and the mixed petanque team. The women won the silver medals in sports shooting and table tennis, and the men in volleyball, beach volleyball and table tennis. The SERAW athletes also won four bronze prizes (tug of war, beach volleyball, tennis-women, sports shooting-men), as well as other high ranking positions in individual sports.
The complex presentation of the SERAW’s sport delegation at this prestigious event deservedly brought the third complex place to the enterprise with a minimum difference of 4 points behind the second-placed.
This result is the best achievement for SERAW for the whole history of its participation in the Sport Festival – eight consecutive years. The athletes of the enterprise competed for the highest prize with about 700 participants from 16 companies, and participated in 14 of the total 16 individual sports, included in the event.
On this occasion the SERAW Executive Director, Mr Dilyan Petrov, sent congratulations to the participants in the sports delegation of the enterprise.
