The sixth issue of the Honey Celebration will take place on 14th and 15th February in Kozloduy. The event is a joint initiative of SERAW and the bee-keepers associations in Kozloduy and the region. The emphasis of the Celebration’s programme will be the meeting with Professor Hristo Mermerski who has prepared a lecture with subject ‘Healing virtues of the bee products’. The lecture will start at 11:30 on the 14th of February in the Hall of ‘St. St. Cyril and Methodius’ High school, where also the official opening will take place.
The both days of the Honey Celebration 2014 would offer to its guests:
An exhibition of poly-floral honey and bee products from the region of Kozloduy;
A representative stand of Rhodopian alpine honey;
Tasting the different types of honey;
Medicinal and cosmetic products, created on honey product basis, a certified original production;
A culinary exhibition of honey cakes;
A stand – home-made wild-berries jam (Berkovski Balkan region);
Specialized books;
Collections of artworks made in the style of the traditional Bulgarian crafts.
The exhibition will take place in the hall of Restaurant ‘Dunav’ and will be open for visitors on 14 February (Friday) from 11:00 to 18:00 and on 15 February (Saturday) from 9:30 to 17:00.
