State Enterprise Radioactive Waste announced the beginning of the Seventh competition for children’s artistic-applied artworks – Our green future.
By following the tradition, the initiative takes place on the eve of the Easter holidays and it is a creative challenge for the youngest residents of Municipality Kozloduy to interpret the environmental protection theme. According to the rules, the participants have to create compositions by using elements of Easter eggs and other symbols of the holiday in a way that associates the event with the Bulgarian tradition.
Children between the age of 5 to 10 are invited to enter the competition. The results will be announced during the special celebration on 15th of April, at 16:30 in the Hall of ‘St. St. Cyril and Methodius’ High school, in Kozloduy.
With each passing year the competition becomes more and more popular among the young authors from the region of Kozloduy – 430 children made 132 artworks in total during the last edition in 2013.
