State enterprise “Radioactive waste” celebrated 19 years since its establishment with a corporate event on June 8 at the Information Center for Decommissioning in Kozloduy – the date for the official court registration of the enterprise. The management sends its greetings and wishes to the employees of the specialized divisions in Kozloduy, Novi Han and the Chief Administration in Sofia via a direct online live broadcast from the international nuclear conference “Bulgarian Nuclear Energy – National, Regional and Global Energy Security” of the Association “Bulgarian Atomic Forum” (BULATOM), held near Varna.
“Dear colleagues, I am glad that we are together today, regardless of the fact that we are located at four different locations at the same time in Bulgaria, but we gathered for one common purpose to celebrate. I find significant the fact, that I am addressing you from the BULATOM international conference – one of the most prestigious events in the Bulgarian nuclear energy calendar, where we present the experience of SE RAW to the professional community.
19 is undeniably a wonderful age – full grown and mature, in the prime of life, full of ambition and hungry for growth. And the reason why we are here all together celebrating is you, the employs. You have managed to create an excellent, strong and well-prepared team, ready to face professional challenges and develop. Allow me to personally address each of you and to say that the management of SE RAW is proud of the merits of this team and the responsibilities that it meets every day for the last 19 years. I sincerely wish personal and corporate health! And the most important thing- our work to be useful, recognized and appreciated,” said in his welcoming speech Sergey Tsochev the Chairman of the Management Board of SE RAW.
In the next short accompanying programme of the event, Nikolay Ivanov and Kaloyan Krastev from the “Radiana” team, led by Tanya Gergova, introduced their original 4-minute video about the National Repository for RAW, qualified for participation in a high school competition in Budapest within the framework of an international network for the exchange of information in the field of nuclear energy. The solo performances at the end of the celebration were performed by Ralitsa Asenova and Izabela Dimitrova from the pop and jazz singing class at the Hristo Botev 1874 Community Center with artistic director Lyudmila Alexieva.
